I can't find a cosigner

OK, firstly the good news. If you need a cosigner then it means that you have been accepted and we have set some money aside for you. All our loans need cosigners because we lend based on trust - not your history.

Why was my cosigner declined?

Being cosigner is a big commitment, so we work hard to make sure we only accept cosigners that we believe are in a suitable financial position to take on the responsibilities.

We have some basic requirements, like having a good income and a history of paying bills on time. Plus, we always let you know that homeowners are more likely to be accepted.

However, we also have some more complicated rules that exist to protect you, your cosigner and us from getting into something that isn't suitable. We promise that we will do everything we can to accept your cosigner - so if we have declined them, it's for a good reason.

Can I borrow more money?

If we have not yet paid out your loan then you can apply for anything up to $7,000 when you apply you will need to show that you can afford the monthly repayments - just so you are not getting into anything you can't afford.

Remember, your cosigner will also need to be in a position to make the monthly repayments if you can't.

If you have already had your loan paid out then you will need to pay that loan back in full before we can help you with a new loan.

Do I need NemID to be cosigner?

Yes you do. We are really serious about security so you will need to use your NemID when signing up with us. If you don't have Nem ID then you will not be able to stand as cosigner.

What are my responsibilites as cosigner?

That's a great question and something we take very seriously.

In short, you will need to make the montly repayment on the loan if at ANY point the borrower does not stick to the date and amount of the payment.

How do I apply to be cosigner?

It's pretty simple to apply to be cosigner.

As soon as the borrower has completed their application they will get a unique link, just click that link and you can begin your application.

When will I know if I am accepted?

When you sign up to be cosigner we will let you know right away if you are not able to be cosigner.

After you have completed your online application we will check over a few more things to be sure that you are in a suitable position to take on the responsibilities.

If everything is OK then we will payout the loan in 24 hours. We will always keep you up to date during the application process.

How can I stop being cosigner?

You can cancel your application at any time before we have paid out the loan - just click here.

If we have already issued the loan then the only way you can stop being cosigner is when the loan has been paid back in full, including any interest that is owed.

It's really important that your loan stays on track and all your monthly repayments are made on time. If, for any reason you are not able to make a repayment then your cosigner will need to make the payment for you so the loan stays on track.

We obviously did something right if you want to borrow from us again - thank you for being a customer.

The monthly repayment is too high

Before we approve any loans we complete a budget plan with you to make sure you can afford the monthly repayments.

If your situation has changed and you can no longer afford the repayments then your cosigner will need to make the monthly repayments for you until you can afford them again.

It's really important that the loan stays on track, and that is one of the most important reasons why you have a cosigner.

Do you offer Payment Holidays

We do not offer repayments holidays. When you borrow from us we promise to do everything we can to keep you on track and help you stick to the original terms of the loan. We do not beleive that repayment holidays help with this, so we do not offer them to any customers.

No problem - hopefully you have found a solution elsewhere.

Once you have been accepted we keep the money to one side for you for 2 weeks.

Why have I been charged $5?

If you have been charged $5 this will be for your membership fee to Transform Credit Builder.

When you created your Transform Credit Builder account, you agreed to make a membership payment of $5 per month. It is these membership repayments that we report back to the credit bureaus each month to help grow and build your credit score.

We always let you know before your monthly membership subscription fee is due and before any payments are made.

About Transform Credit Builder

Transform Credit Builder is a new subscription service that provides a simple and easy way to build your credit score.

By making the regular monthly payments for your subscription, we are able to report back to your credit file that you are making regular on track payments.

Positive payments history is one of the biggest factors that impacts your credit score, so by simply paying your membership fee each month will have a positive impact on your credit score.

The longer you're a member, the more credit history you build.

Membership is fully flexible and costs $5 a month - you can cancel at any time.

All our memberships are flexible and you can cancel at any time.

Once you have confirmed your cancellation you will no longer be charged your membership fee and no longer have access to our Transform Credit Builder services.
